Donate to CCM As we complete our transition, two main challenges currently faced by the college is in having a fully operational Cafeteria and Multimedia Centre. Therefore, CCM is humbly seeking your assistance in completing construction of these buildings as well as in acquiring lunch tables, chairs and other furnishing.
The Mission of the Catholic College of Mandeville is to offer quality tertiary education to adults at an affordable cost, and in a format convenient to their social/family responsibilities & initial academic standard. While maintaining an emphasis on Teacher Education, the College may introduce and develop other programmes, including full-time day programmes, identified by current needs analyses. Since 1995 CCM has been approved by the Catholic Church, registered with the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) since 1997, and received UCJ accreditation and re-accreditation status of the Diploma in Primary Education (2001, 2005) and the Bachelor of Education (Primary), (2005, 2009). The most recent programme introduced by CCM in 2008 is an HLC accredited Master of Education in Teaching and Learning which is being offered on weekends through a partnership with Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, USA and which also received UCJ accreditation May 1, 2010. To respond to the need for qualification of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers, CCM officially implemented in September 2011 the bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education (B.Ed. (EC)).
